ICTomorrow, part of the Technology Strategy Board (the UK government’s innovation agency), are running a competition called ‘Digital Innovation Contest – Data’ where 5 businesses can win up to £25K worth of funding. To enter you need to come up with a data solution for challenges set by established brands and organisations.

The data challenges to be met in the competition are in five different areas working with five different organisations. They are:

  • ‘Processing data efficiently’ with Ingram Content Group
  • ‘Commercialisation of mobile data’ with EE Limited
  • ‘Geospatial data mapping’ with Ordnance Survey
  • ‘Data visualisation and analytic decision making’ with Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust
  • ‘Value of public-domain data’ with the British Library

If you think you’ve got a data solution which fits the bill for one of these challenges, you can enter the competition here. You have until Wednesday 7 May 2014, noon to get your application in.
