seedcamp-logoMeetup Group South West Founders have arranged for Seedcamp – the European startup accelerator – to hold a meet and greet in Bristol’s Watershed in August. Seedcamp provides startups with seed money, mentorship, office space and support over a year-long program.

Seedcamp have already invested in Bristol-based startup Basekit, and they are now looking to plug into one of the UK’s most vibrant tech clusters as they search for ambitious startups from the South West region to join their programme.

At the event, you will be able to meet some of the existing Seedcamp Family and learn what it means to be a part of Seedcamp’s startup network of investors, advisors and entrepreneurs in Europe and all over the world

You can also network with local entrepreneurs and meet like-minded people and take advantage of the chance to ask questions about the entire Seedcamp process, from applications to their US Trip.

They are also hosting a Q&A session with a panel, chaired by James Routley, CEO of content recommendation platform The Filter and organiser of South West Founders. This will give you the chance to ask questions about the tech scene in Bristol, what it’s like to be in the Seedcamp family, and how to apply.

The panel will include Carlos Espinal, Partner at Seedcamp, Katy Turner, Chief Marketing Officer at Tech City UK and Richard Healy & Simon Best, founders at BaseKit.
