Esportsify, a new easy-to-use esports platform that can help you create your own esports team online, is launching next week on Wednesday 13 August 2014.
Esports, or competitive gaming, where you compete online or in real life against live opponents in a videogame, is becoming ever more popular. With 50 million esports teams competing out there already, whether for prizes or prestige, it’s clear the demand is there.
Esports has enjoyed a very prosperous few years, bringing in millions of pounds of prize money for competitors each year. For example the prize pool for the International DOTA 2 Championships alone is just under $11 million.
We are proud to offer these teams the ability to create, manage and promote websites that contain the features required by the teams, their players, the fans and the sponsors that support and fund them.
The man behind the company, Gavin Weeks, explains the idea behind Esportsify: “There are over 1.2 billion gamers worldwide, over half of those play competitively and half of those belong to teams. We are proud to offer these teams the ability to create, manage and promote websites that contain the features required by the teams, their players, the fans and the sponsors that support and fund them.
“After over a year we are so happy to finally be launching Esportsify, the only team management and fan outreach platform specifically aimed at esports.”
