ES-natwest-1024x250Business accelerator Entrepreneurial Spark has plans to open a new hub in Bristol. It will be creating a collaborative office environment suitable for building teams to help companies grow.

For successful applicants Entrepreneurial Spark provide funding up to £50,000, a space to work, collaborate and network with free Wi-Fi, advice, workshops and a pool of over 50 specialised mentors over a programme of up to 18 months.

Originally based in Glasgow, Entrepreneurial Spark’s fruitful partnerships with RBS, NatWest and Ulster Bank has meant that they’re now planning to roll out nationally in 8 UK cities, with the first new hub launching in Birmingham just this week.

“Entrepreneurial Spark helped me to take my business from an idea to an investible, scalable and credible position.”

With accelerators such as WebStart, SETSquared and the Bristol and Bath Science Park already at home in Bristol, this will be a welcome addition to the city and its budding entrepreneurial sparks.

In a recent Entrepreneurial Spark blog Leah Hutcheon, founder of Appointedd and one of the incubator’s early successes exclaimed: “Entrepreneurial Spark helped me to take my business from an idea to an investible, scalable and credible position. For anyone considering applying, whether you have an idea or an exciting new business that is already going places I’d say go for it, you’ll never look back.”

Although the hub in Bristol has yet to be opened, you can stay in the loop by registering your interest on the Entrepreneurial Spark site. You can also see  details about the Entrepreneurial Spark process below.
