Techie Brekkie – Education Technology, The Engine Shed
15 October @ 8:15 to 10am

techspark logoEducation Technology is one of tech’s hottest sectors. At least, that’s what investors think.
They poured $559m into start-ups in this area in the first quarter of 2014 alone, and this inflow of investment shows no signs of abating, with Education considered one of the sectors most in need of disruption.

Various factors, including the shift in teachers themselves to those who have grown up in a much more technically savvy generation, means that there is renewed interest in selling to a sector that has traditionally been slow to adopt. So what other elements are driving the gold rush? Who will the winners and losers be? How is technology being applied? And where is it all going?

This Techie Brekkie, sponsored by Obrussa, and held at the Engine Shed, will address these questions and more. Come along to share views and insights with Bill Hutchison from Obrussa and other edutech aficionados from Bristol and Bath.

There are just 5 spaces left at this popular event so sign up on the TechSPARK Meetup page quick!
