iNetS South West Microelectronics offer innovation vouchers of up to £10,000 to enable external expertise to be used by a company to allow you to innovate, develop and grow.

You have to be quick though, there’s only 2 days left to apply for this round. It closes on Friday 17 October 2014.

Areas of particular interest

iNets SW Microelectronics is particularly interested in funding the following areas:

  • Power management, and energy efficient sustainable technology
  • Smart grids
  • Transport, including marine
  • Healthcare, wellbeing and medical electronics
  • Smart communities
  • Test and verification
  • Industrial, instrumentation
  • M2M communications
  • Security

Selection criteria

Interested? The selection criteria for the funding is below. You must:

  • Support a small to medium sized enterprise (SME) based within the South West
  • Have received less than €200,000 in State Aid during the last 3 years
  • Demonstrate innovation in product, service or business processes
  • Lead to a commercially viable product or service
  • Lead to tangible and measurable results such as multiple party collaboration, new product development, job creation, company growth and increased economic value
  • In the case of larger projects, clearly identify the project phase with which the iNet will engage
