Bath-based business Ecodesk achieved national recognition last week when it scooped the UK’s best sustainable software and systems award at the prestigious Sustainability Leaders Awards held at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms.
Ecodesk, based on Wood Street, works with a number of well-known businesses globally, including GSK, Mitie, Eurostar and P&G is a cloud-based software service that helps organisations collect and map sustainability performance data from their supply chains.

“We like the idea of assessing the supply chain and any means to gather data from numerous disparate companies is good if it’s easy to use by both the company and its suppliers. It’s free for suppliers which is also good.”
What does Ecodesk do?
Ecodesk enables organisations to improve the management and performance of their supply chains through the aggregation of environmental, social and governance metrics presented via easily readable and customisable dashboards and scorecards.
Its approach of free data entry encourages co-operation and data input at all levels within the supply chain to help procurement, CSR, marketing and financial departments better manage risk and improve business continuity.
