Leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus has today been announced as a key sponsor of innovation and investment event Venturefest Bristol and Bath 2015, and with its support the event is going to be the best one yet!

Bristol-based Airbus is a very suitable sponsor for Venturefest with its focus on innovation and engineering – it employs 4000 people in their Filton offices, and the company has delivered more than 8,900 aircraft to 370 customers worldwide (with a healthy backlog of more than 6,330 aircraft for delivery over the coming years).
Bristol & Bath is also at the centre of Europe’s largest aerospace cluster with 14 of the 15 prime companies having a base in the region.

The new-look Venturefest, which is coming to Bristol’s Passenger Shed and Engine Shed on 9 June, will celebrate Bristol & Bath’s position as a global centre for innovation by showcasing the unrivalled innovation and investment opportunities across the region, which was last month named the largest digital cluster in the UK outside of London.
Venturefest enables entrepreneurs and innovators at all stages of the business lifecycle to connect with investors and thought leaders and is set to feature 60 exciting exhibitors.

The event has already gathered strong support from other industry leaders including KPMG and Europe’s #1 tech incubator SETsquared.
