Comic Relief have introduced a funding programme called the Tech for Good Fund to provide an opportunity for not-for-profit organisations who already have some technological capacity to take their digital innovation projects forward. But you only have until 3pm on Friday to get your application in.

The Tech for Good programme plans to fund 6-8 digital projects between £15,000 and £60,000 (with access to further expert support) for up to 6 months, to address any of its UK Main Fund themes of Safer Lives, Healthier Finances, Better Futures, Fairer Society or Stronger Communities.

Social change wanted!

A wide range of digital initiatives that could lead to social change will be considered for the programme, but Comic relief’s aim is to fund projects that:

  • Are focused on specific user needs
  • Make best use of web, mobile apps or internet based technologies to deliver a service
  • Scale effectively (have economies of scale)
  • Challenge existing ways of delivering services

The deadline for applications closes 3pm on Friday 8th May 2015.
