The line-up for Thursday’s coding conference Voxxed days Bristol is developing nicely (see what we did there?). Aimed at developers, the one-day conference being organised by High Tech Bristol and Bath CIC (HBB) brings leading local and international coders to Bristol’s Watershed to share their expert knowledge.

With three cinemas already filled with 21 experts from the likes of Oracle, ClusterHQ, Softwire, Red Hat and Real Logic, Voxxed Days Bristol has just confirmed an addition to the line-up – Nano Simbox, the globally renowned and leading science engagement experience.

Nano Simbox will allow attendees to experience the molecular world through an Oculus Rift! As John Bradford from HBB tells us, “Their interactive, simulation of atoms and molecules allows participants to explore the molecular nano-world. As part of their ongoing innovation and development, they’re exploring how to put this experience in the cloud!”

Find a tech job

As well as Lightning Talks during the day, and ‘Cloud foosball’ to play (where Oracle will let you play with its Raspberry Pi powered foosball table that integrates with the Oracle public cloud for data analytics), there will also be a Find a Tech Job in Bristol event in the evening, where you can scope out tech opportunities on offer in the local South West tech scene whilst enjoying a beer and a slice of pizza.

So if all the latest information and lightning talks on big data, databases, cloud services and programming languages are your thing, you need to get yourself down to the Watershed this Thursday!
