Are you, or do you know, someone who deserves the title and the acclaim of being named the UK’s Entrepreneur of the Year?
“Entrepreneur of the Year celebrates the spirit and contribution of exceptional entrepreneurs”
This is the 18th year Ernst and Young have taken to looking for the UK’s best entrepreneur, and as the company explains: “The Entrepreneur of the Year celebrates the spirit and contribution of exceptional entrepreneurs who can see the future, and through their entrepreneurial businesses, are helping to reshape it.”
This year there is also a Social Entrepreneur category for organisations who invest profits back into the community.
Help out an entrepreneur
So if you know someone who should be being recognised for their entrepreneurial flair, then get nominating them. It would be great to get someone from the Bristol and Bath region recognised and rewarded for their talents. As EY say: “By entering Entrepreneur Of The Year your nominees will get the chance to join an exciting alumni of some of the UK’s brightest and most energetic visionaries striving to build a better working world for the communities in which they operate.
“What’s more, we can connect them with peers around the world, share insights to help accelerate business growth and provide a platform to raise the profile of themselves, their company and their team.”
You can get a flavour of what the winners can expect from the EY Entrepreneur of the year in the video below:
Each year, the Entrepreneur of the Year country winners join together in Monaco to be inducted into the World Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame and vie for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year title. Good luck from all at TechSPARK to all those who are nominated!
The Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 UK is open for entries until 11 March 2016. You can also follow news from the competition on Twitter here: @EOY_UK
