Are you interested in learning how to use Microsoft tools to build websites and web apps? Yes? Then this free one-day event in Bristol introducing you to how to use Microsoft tools for web development is for you.
“It is a fun and interactive day full of live coding and participation from the audience”
Held at Bristol’s Radisson Blu hotel on 17 March, Microsoft’s technical experts will be on hand to show you tips and tricks for building faster and slicker websites and apps using ASP.NET, Edge, Visual Studio and Azure.
The day will consist of 10 presentations which will cover all aspects of current and future web development techniques. During the event they will be building a web app throughout the day to show you how you can use these techniques in the real world.
What to expect at Microsoft web day
It’s a popular event and places are filling up fast. We spoke to Olga Kounevitch, web dev marketing at Microsoft UK DX, to find out what’s in store for those who come along.
She tells us: “It is a fun and interactive day full of live coding and participation from the audience. We have been running these camps across the UK for a couple of years and the feedback from the attendees has been very positive.”
“It was great to learn so many new things and get my first glimpse at some new technologies”
The event does indeed seem to have a lot of satisfied customers happy to shout about their experiences, such as this from developer Gregor Suttie who attended the Glasgow Microsoft Web Day last month: “The schedule for the day covered various topics and it was great to learn so many new things and get my first glimpse at some new technologies, I always love learning something new.”
Andrew Murray, who was also there, adds “Fantastic content and so glad I took the time to go. Lots of new things to try!”
