We mentioned the successes of Bristol-based Zenstores, who take the hassle out of delivering products, back in January, and it looks like we weren’t the only ones who noticed as they’ve just attracted a £400,000 investment, led by Downing Ventures and backed by Tech Incubator Webstart Bristol.
“Selling online is tough, you’ve got so much to do and so little time to do it. Zenstores frees online sellers to grow their businesses”
The main aim of Zenstores is to make your life as a small business owner who delivers products to customers as easy as possible. Zenstores manages all your orders in one place (so you can kiss goodbye to the endless open tabs), and allows you to print shipping labels in whatever quantity you require and dispatch orders, all in a few clicks. They want to save you time and reduce mistakes when processing orders with eBay, Amazon and Shopify.
Do you deliver in your business? Zenstores can help you!
Zenstores success speaks for itself, having helped small businesses ship over 1 million units in their first year and now the company have raised £400,000 in seed funding, led by Downing Ventures.
Putting the money to good use
Zenstores plan to use the money to add new integrations with marketplaces and couriers, whilst keeping up with its ever-growing number of users in 2016. Tom Palmer, Zenstores Co-Founder and CEO (pictured above) explains, “Selling online is tough, you’ve got so much to do and so little time to do it. Over the last year we’ve proved that using Zenstores removes the shackles of time-consuming operational tasks and frees online sellers to grow their businesses. This investment puts the foundations in place for us to make Zenstores available to every online seller in the UK and beyond.”
“We are pleased to be continuing to back the team as they look to scale up operations”
Downing Ventures CEO Matt Penneycard describes Zenstores as, “an indispensable partner to online sellers.” He goes on to say, “we are pleased to be continuing to back the team as they look to scale up operations and make their customers lives easier and their businesses more profitable.”
