Are you ready to take your business to new heights? The Seats for Startups competition, an initiative led by BMI Regional, Engine Shed and UK Trade & Investment, has landed and ready for takeoff!

The scheme is offering three businesses each month free return flights from Bristol to a multitude of European destinations including Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and more – enabling South West startups new opportunities to meet business prospects face-to-face without blowing the budget.

“It’s important that new businesses can work with their customers, wherever they are, so this will hopefully bring about opportunities for companies in Bristol and Bath to grow”

Aimed at young enterprises in the Bristol and Bath area who want to expand into the new UK and European markets, winners of the competition will also benefit from a one-hour consultation with an expert coach at UKTI to provide invaluable advice about business growth.

nick-sturgeNick Sturge, Director of Engine Shed (pictured right), says: “We’re pleased to be offering companies the opportunity to promote their businesses overseas and are glad that BMI Regional and UKTI are working together with us on this. It’s important that new businesses can work with their customers, wherever they are, so this will hopefully bring about opportunities for companies in Bristol and Bath to grow.”

“Seats for Startups is about helping South Western entrepreneurs, allowing them to connect in person with new business leads”

Jochen Schnadt, COO of BMI Regional adds: “Seats for Startups is about helping South Western entrepreneurs, allowing them to connect in person with new business leads and this new initiative is entirely in line with our philosophy that our business is about enabling business and connecting people and enterprises. Despite the increasing digitisation of our worlds, it’s always great to build real in person relationships.”
