Crowd10 is a new crowd-funding initiative from IdeaSquares,  supporting ten early stage startups in their equity crowd-funding campaigns on one of the UK’s leading platforms, Crowdcube.

There are a diverse range of startups pitching and all are looking for under £150k investment, which makes them eligible for the extremely attractive SEIS tax relief.

The ten finalists at the event are:

TrackStack: an app that helps DJs save time and work more productively by making music discovery simpler and creating an integrated music library.

This Mum Runs: an organiser of social runs for mums, open to runners of all abilities. Runs are planned to fit around the children’s schedule.

The Chocolate Bear Kitchen: a pop up restaurant providing an inclusive dining experience by catering for a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences on the one menu.

Lux Rewards: an app that connects fine dining enthusiasts with high quality local restaurants. Users collect points when dining out which they can then redeem for rewards.

Local Vets: a community of independent, locally owned vet practices which aims to offer greater brand reach to its members and allow them to compete with larger, corporate vets.

Fro Sister: a range of all natural hair care products for curly hair types which offer a safer, healthier alternative to hair relaxants traditionally used to tame frizz.

Esole: an insole fitted with a GPS tracker for people who suffer with dementia and Alzheimers and have a high propensity to get lost.

Coherent: a tailor made web app which makes managing and administering co-working spaces simpler. It also helps connecting co-workers together.

Breathe Sync: an app that helps its users improve their health and wellbeing by teaching them to breathe in sync with their heart beat, leading to stress reduction and increased productivity.

Apps4arts: a self-publishing platform which makes it simple and affordable for multi-venues festivals to create their own event guide app.
