We’re finally hosting an all day hackathon!

We’ve had some amazing hacknights over the past year, with Pusher, Twilio, Lovehoney and more. It’s always incredible to see what lovely Bristol creatives can make in an evening and now we can’t wait to see what can be done with a whole day.

You don’t have to be a techie to win

simpleweb-lovehoney-hackWe’re inviting techies and non-techies to prototype the future of chat – whether you want to create a bot, design mockups for a new chat app or prototype the future of work chat, we want to see your idea!

Join us at our newly revamped HQ on Saturday, 24 September for our mini hacking festival. We’ll be kitting the place out for festival vibes with music, home cooked food and drinks flowing all day.

Not a coder? No problem. With prizes for ideas, wireframes and working prototypes, everyone’s eligible to win something.

Prizes, drinks and homemade food

We’ll be kicking off at 10am and finishing hacking at 6pm, aiming to present and hand out prizes between 7 and 8pm.

Lunch and dinner will be provided by the wonderful Geekfeeder (with veggie and meat options available) and we’ll be keeping the drinks flowing all day.

Thanks to Opposable VR, we’ll be building a mini VR cave where you can come and play with the latest in VR tech. We even have a couple of optional creative talks lined up if you fancy a break!

With prizes for working apps, mockups and great ideas, you don’t need app experience to join in. Just bring yourself and your computer and get creating!
