Coming to Bristol’s Watershed at the start of December 2016, TechSPARK is pleased to present the SPARK Skills Festival, the largest independent recruitment event dedicated to the South West Digital Tech Cluster.

Supported by major digital companies in the region, including leading tech companies Just Eat and Actual Experience, the festival will gather large and small technology businesses all in one place showcasing the latest technologies and job opportunities to students and graduates from across the South West.

Coffee & Networking, Bath Innovation Centre, 1 November @ 10.30am – 12pm

Whether you’ve just moved your business to the area and would like to build your network, or if you’re well established in the region, feel free to pop down, have a coffee courtesy of those lovely people at the University of Bath Innovation Centre, and a friendly chat.

Attendees are also invited to attend Bath Innovation Centre’s First Tuesday which runs directly after the coffee and networking from 12-1pm and showcases both the startups being incubated within the centre in addition to local business and funding opportunities.

ProductTank SW #4, Templeback, Bristol, 1 November @ 6.15 – 10pm

ProductTank is a meetup for anyone involved in product  management, marketing and development.

Bristech 2016, The Watershed, Bristol, 3 November @ 8.30am – 5pm

This year’s Bristech conference for developers and tech entrepreneurs will be bringing you 3 streams of sessions for polyglots, innovators and the simply “tech curious”.

So whether you’re a professional developer, founder, tech entrepreneur or enthusiast, there should be something of interest for all.

Communicate 2016 Session: The New Wave of Digital, Bristol Zoo, 3 November @ 1.40 – 2.30pm and 2.50 – 3.40pm

Mobile Monday Bristol #9: Web Tools, Communications House, Bristol, 7 November @ 6 – 8.30pm

SWUX Talk: UX – the heart of Digital Transformation, Sift Digital, Bristol, 8 November @ 6.45 – 8.30pm

SWUX is a free meetup for UX and UX-curious people, on the second Tuesday of every month in Bristol.

BathCamp: Lightening Talks and Social Evening, The Guild Hub, Bath, 24 November @  7 – 10pm

BathCamp is a free meetup for anyone interested in technology, from hardware to software through to business and design.

This month there will be series of 5-minute lightning/short talks followed by an evening of socialising. There are still spots if you want to become a lightning speaker.

New meetup on the block is Bath Machine Learning which is open to anyone interested in data science, particularly machine learning and its applications.
