Bristol Media, the South West’s biggest creative community, is running its annual business survey and needs the help of the Bristol and Bath’s business leaders to get to the core of the region’s creative, media and tech sectors.

The survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous, looks at growth and new business, challenges and opportunities, talent, collaboration and business confidence and will give valuable insight into the health of the sectors and help to drive better support in 2017.

“[The survey results] give us valuable insight into the health of the sector”

Caroline Marshall, Bristol Media’s Editor and Operations Director, tells us: “We started the survey back in 2013 and it has now grown into a valuable publication. This is the 5th year so we are able to look back at previous analysis and compare the results year on year. It gives us valuable insight into the health of the sector – whether businesses are growing, if their turnover has increased or decreased, whether they are they taking on staff, where the majority of their work comes from and also what challenges they are facing – i.e. talent shortage, broadband speed, connectivity or infrastructure.

“It’s also a way of our gathering information about the sector which then feeds into everything we do, from workshops on LinkedIn and Instagram, to masterclasses and the Vision Conference. Everyone involved with Bristol Media has a great insight into Bristol’s creative community and the results of this survey help to feed that knowledge.

However, the deadline for participating is in just 2 days, on 23 February, so you’ll need to be quick if you want your views to count.
