TEDxBristol, the UK’s largest TEDx event, is back and hosting a free workshop at the Business Showcase South West (BSSW), tomorrow.

TEDx was created in the spirit of the world-famous TED talk’s mission of “ideas worth spreading.” It supports independent organisers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. So if you are interested in taking the stage with the light up letters and the red spot, then this workshop will give you the inside track on how to become a speaker, get involved, and find out what the TEDxBristol 2017 theme ‘Dare to Disrupt’ is all about.

The workshop invites the entrepreneurs, creatives, and techies from the region who are doing things differently. It will be followed by two speed-pitching sessions at 12.45pm and 3.15pm for you to pitch your big idea to the TEDxBristol team. All you need is 5 minutes, and one great idea!

Playing host to the event is the South West’s largest business event, BSSW. The workshop is shouldered by keynote speeches, networking and a large exhibition space, all packed into Ashton Gate Stadium.

Wednesday 17 May, Ashton Gate Stadium, Ashton Rd, Bristol BS3 2EJ. The workshop is first come first serve but you’ll need to register online for your free ticket. You can also see the full schedule of events by checking out their online brochure.
