Tickets for the SPARKies tech awards 2017 celebration have been released, so form an orderly queue and join in with the biggest annual celebration of tech in the West!
On Thursday 29 June 2017, the fifth annual SPARKies awards will be held at Bath’s no.1 comedy and entertainment venue, Komedia. And with Somerset lass and viral-sensation comedian Laura Lexx (pictured on the left) as the evening’s host, you’re guaranteed a giggle or two.

As well as offering the chance to mix and network with the big movers and shakers of the tech scene in the South West, the SPARKies is a great all-round buzzing event.
Whether or not you’ve been nominated or shortlisted, the SPARKies is a perfect way to get a foot-in on the tech industry, chat to some inspiring tech businesses and network the night away.

n celebration of the diverse range of tech coming out of the cluster, we’ve 15 award categories. Ever loved are awards such as Best App, Best Hard(ware), Best Mentor/Advisor, while new ones such as Lifetime Achievement and Most Exemplary Use of VR & Mixed Reality provide new opportunities for companies to nominate themselves.
Not to mention, the popular People’s Choice award – the winner of which will be decided by you, the audience on the night!

Tickets for the SPARKies 2017 are available via Eventbrite – but be quick, they’re limited and sell fast! Tickets include a welcome glass of sparkling prosecco, canapes, and three drinks from the bar. There will also be a cash bar afterwards for those who need a little more… ahem… celebrating.
A note about where your money is going:
We run the SPARKies on a break-even basis but if any profit is made, this will go back into running events and resources for the local tech community including TechSPARK.co, and the meetups TechSPARK and BathSPARK.
