ADLIB, a leading recruitment agency specialising in the technology and creative sectors, is expanding once again in a South West tech business and skills boom.
The agency, a valuable TechSPARK partner and key contributor to the tech and creative community in the South West, now plans to expand its office space just 18 months after its last office move to house a fast-growing team and an even faster-growing demand for tech and creative talent from businesses across the South West and beyond.
“Businesses of all shapes and sizes are undertaking change and transformation”
Nick Dean, Managing Director at ADLIB, (pictured left) tells us: “We’ve worked hard on our employer brand alongside continually keeping an active eye on growth opportunities and market change. The result of which has been an influx of experienced recruiters off the back of our reputation, with clear cut opportunities to join the team and enhance our offering.”
Digital transformation
Included in the team’s recent expansion is Alex Cosgrove (pictured right) who will be tasked with heading up the growth of ADLIB’s change and digital transformation team – created to support the influx of businesses looking to expand their digital offerings with the diverse skills increasingly required within roles such as eCommerce and digital marketing.
“We’re part of the wider community and that’s so important to us”
Nick explains: “Businesses of all shapes and sizes are undertaking change and transformation. From financial services to the care industry, it’s happening everywhere. Traditionally we’ve always worked closely with digital expertise in both agency and client businesses. Take, for example, project managers, developers and designers. During the rise of digital transformation these people have often provided the transferable skills to move into newer worlds. In turn this creates more openings, role variances and opportunity for career progression.”
In addition to Alex, and to support ADLIB’s growth, they’re also welcoming Ryan Barnes (pictured left) into the user experience recruitment team and Hannah Biggs (pictured right), who expands ADLIB’s technology offering across the South West.
Expanding in style
As well as expanding the team and moving office, ADLIB is moving in with its sister company enable, a specialist sales recruitment business, which they hope will lead to improved efficiency, better communication channels and enable (…ahem) even more opportunity.
Given the huge growth and technical development the UK and the world have seen since ADLIB started out servicing the creative and marketing industries 16 years ago, it’s amazing to see its team continue to do so well at doing things differently and thriving off the region’s engaging community.
Nick tells us: “Being based in the South West has supported ADLIB’s recent growth incredibly well. We’re part of the wider community and that’s so important to us. Collectively all manner of networks, communities and initiatives support the growth of startups and scale ups, play key roles in attracting corporate brands who are looking to set up sizeable digital operations here. It’s a win for everybody. We also have an amazing city, a stack of genuinely nice people who just happen to be very talented. What’s not to love.”
Thanks to ADLIB for chatting to us about their recent successes and for being brilliant partners. You can find out more about them on the ADLIB website or follow them on Twitter here: @AdLibRecruit.
