Wiltshire-based tech consultancy ojo solutions has just announced a new initiative to help charities unleash the power of technology by co-designing their own app for a heavily discounted fee of £2,000.
“There’s no commitment at this stage and we’re looking forward to hearing from a wide range of organisations”
Knowing all too well the power that connecting up with a digital audience can have, the consultancy wants to empower charities to be able to do the same – using the app to help them to connect with their supporters and build engaged communities around their causes.
Nathan Baranowski (pictured left), co-founder of ojo solutions, comments: “At ojo solutions, we’re passionate about helping charities use technology to get their message out, build stronger supporter relationships and focus more of their funds where these really make a difference. Mobile apps are an important part of this story.
“We’re encouraging as many charities and third-sector organisations as possible to register their interest in this incredible opportunity to grow their digital presence. There’s no commitment at this stage and we’re looking forward to hearing from a wide range of organisations.”
Free support
The deadline for registrations of interest ends on 1 September 2017 – after which ojo will select 10 lucky charities to co-create their own, branded mobile presence. The selected charities will be able to shape the new app and its capabilities, drawing on ojo solutions’ design and technical expertise.
They’ll also get their app published on the Apple (iPhone and iPad) and Android app stores and receive a year of free support and maintenance.
