In a new programme from Innovate UK’s global business accelerator, and delivered by Enterprise Europe Network, cybersecurity and cybertech companies from across the UK are invited to apply for a fully funded trip to Israel at the end of January.
Coinciding with Cybertech Tel Aviv (TLV) – the country’s largest event for cybertech solutions and investment opportunities – this is a huge opportunity for companies looking to expand or collaborate on an international scale.
“The visit provides successful companies with a unique insight into Israeli innovation and high tech culture”
With a deadline of 11 January, there’s still over a week still left to get applications in. With that in mind, the South West’s growing cybertech scene is being urged to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
Gabriella Cox (pictured left), Enterprise Europe Network’s Sector Lead in Digital and Creative who’s heading up the opportunity, tells us: “The Global Business Accelerator Visit to Israel provides a rare and exciting opportunity for UK cybertech companies to meet Israeli cybertech companies, research and innovation centres and key stakeholders.
“Coinciding with Cybertech Tel Aviv, the visit not only provides successful companies with a unique insight into Israeli innovation and high tech culture but will also help them establish the partnerships they need for future collaboration projects.”
Specialised advice and training
With the full trip taking place from January 28 to February 1, successful applicants will be offered pre-visit and in-country briefings providing market information and advice on how to do business in the cyber sector, training on how to improve their pitching skills and training on how to protect their IP.
In addition they will receive full access to Cybertech TLV 2018 and the opportunity to meet key players in the sector, their very own profile in the visit brochure, distributed at the conference, and a programme of meetings with key players and stakeholders.
