A seminar at the Bristol and Bath Science Park on Wednesday is aiming to help businesses and individuals understand more about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
Many critics of cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, have claimed they are ‘too volatile’ and a ‘bubble’ but there’s no denying the underlying impact of blockchain or distributed ledger technology is emerging as one of the biggest disruptive technologies of our time.

The seminar includes a number of experts from the Bristol and Bath region, including Kevin Basham, the Bristol-based entrepreneur and co-host of the UK’s No 1 crypto podcast, Cryptopulse, and serial entrepreneur Charles Radclyffe. He was most recently Head of Technology at Deutsche Bank Labs, London and is also an Associate Partner at Elixirr as well as CEO of NetKernel and a Visiting Fellowship of the University of Bristol.
They will be joined by Vlad Nanu, Co-CEO of Bristol-based Amdaris that has developed and implemented real life blockchain technology solutions. Amdaris is a multinational software development company with offices in Bristol, Moldova and Romania
