The 2018 BDF Community Challenge
Thursday 25th October, all day gala
Although this event isn’t listed yet, it’s going to play a massive part in this year’s festival. Designed for the savvy networkers, quick thinkers and festival attendees of all ages, we’re taking the expertise of industry titans and fusing it with inter-generational problem solving.
Event organisers Deep Blue Sky are speaking with BaNES, Innovate UK, IBM Watson, Oracle Cloud, Invest Bristol & Bath and more to bring together this big, all day event. The event will span the generations to kick off a year-long problem solving exercise. We’re looking to address a real-world local problem.

Lego Robot Wars
Wednesday 24th October, 6.30pm-8.30pm
If you’re looking for a cool team building exercise, look no further! We’re passionate about LEGO at Deep Blue Sky, and we wanted to incorporate this with our enthusiasm for all things digital.
Lego Robot Wars gets you to assemble and program your own fearsome bots. Battle against other teams to see who will be crowned the champion. But…beware of the HOUSE BOTS!
