Well-known, London-based start-up and scale-up hub Runway East have officially arrived in Bristol after throwing a launch party on 11 October. The hub offers dedicated desk and office space for companies to use to scale with, alongside essential services, start-up resources and access to a wider community of companies.

This is the first time Runway East has opened a location outside of London and they’ve come to Bristol because of the incredible network of startups, scaleups and community hubs across the city. As CEO, Natasha Guerra says “we came to Bristol because we felt like there was a great opportunity here. It’s a thriving and creative hub full of loads of amazing companies and we wanted to help them to the next stage of their journey”.

We spoke to Natasha, as well as Runway East general manager David Foreman and Gareth Williams, founder of Yellowdog, who has taken space in the new hub in the video below.

Ben Shorrock, TechSPARK said “it’s great to see organisations like Runway East recognising the value of the scene here and investing, the right space can be difficult to find in Bristol for the fast-growing startups and scaleups we work with. We’re looking forward to the Bristol team at Runway East becoming a key part of the Bristol & Bath tech ecosystem”.
