Bristol and Bath Cyber is bringing a brand new cyber security conference to Bristol on May 15 at the Watershed.
Bristol and Bath Cyber is the regional chapter for the UK Cyber Security Forum. It help to sustainably grow the cyber cluster in the area through connections, upskilling and knowledge sharing. BristolCyberCon is the next step in its mission to promote, support and encourage people to work in the cyber industry in the region.
BristolCyberCon will include 15 exciting speakers, 4 interactive workshops, 2 hackathons and a rousing panel debate, forming the bulk of the conference, which is being billed as fit for those new to cyber, or the more experienced looking to burnish their skills.
A few of the speakers for the event include Kevin Fielder, CISO at Just Eat, Jon Hatton Brown, Head of Product Security at Dyson, Catherine Thomas Banks, Secure Code Consultant at Secure Code Warrior and Andi Hudson Ethical Hacker & Cloud Architect Lead at IBM.
