The South West’s newest conference, Hacking With Swift: Live, is ready and set to come to Bath this July.
There is already a wide range of knowledgeable speakers set to grace the stage at the conference’s live debut. This includes the likes of Cory Benfield from Apple, Ellen Shapiro from Bakken & Bæck and Sally Shepard from Hotels.com.
SWmobile is thrilled to be a part of this exciting event after announcing their involvement as a Community Sponsor.
All things mobile
Hacking With Swift: Live is an iOS event that will get attendees up to speed with everything they need to know from WWDC19 (World-Wide Developers Conference). You can also expect informative discussion and learning about the latest from iOS and Swift 5.0.
This is the first time the conference is happening in-person, so it’s not one to miss! The complete agenda will be jam packed with exclusive insights and hands-on tutorials that you can put into practice.
The mission of the conference is to connect people from around the globe to learn, inspire and build new networks.
Daniel Leivers, an organiser for Hacking With Swift: Live is excited about the traction the event is already receiving. He says, “It’s amazing to see so many great speakers and so much support for the first mobile developer conference in the South West.”
For a good cause
And in the spirit of community, all profits generated by the conference will be donated to the charity App Camp for Girls.
The organisers realise the stellar opportunity to make a difference to the lives of others and have made the decision for this to be a not-for-profit event.
App Camp for Girls seeks to address the gender imbalance in tech. It tries to do this through inspiring teenage girls, transgender and gender non-conforming young people to get stuck into app development. Since 2013, App Camp for Girls has worked with over 250 aspiring developers!
So why not get yourself to Bath for a day of hacking, all in the name of a good cause.
