Deloitte, the professional services and tech consultancy firm, has signed up as Engine Shed‘s latest supporter.

Engine Shed will be welcoming 40 members of the Deloitte team to its Members’ Lounge to relish all the unique opportunities this dynamic working space has to offer. There will be chances for Deloitte to meet with clients here, as well as utilise the space for valuable networking and to build connections.

And, Deloitte has also been confirmed as the new advertiser on the Boxworks containers at Engine Shed!

A space for opportunity

Deloitte’s South West team are already well connected in the region. They work with everyone from multi-nationals and UK corporates to fast-growing privately-owned businesses, as well as individuals and the public sector.

Startups already based in Engine Shed will be able to utilise Deloitte’s new presence in the hub to grow their own networks.

Engine Shed is also excited to benefit from the knowledge and business acumen Deloitte will bring to the relationship. This will be extremely valuable in supporting their mission to strengthen and diversify the regional economy.

Use of the Member’s Lounge will enable help the South West team to connect with people and companies on a much more local level, facilitating the expansion of the business across Bristol, the West of England and further afield.

Practice Senior Partner for Deloitte South West and Wales, Martyn Gregory, says, “The relationship between traditional industries and creative, digital and tech sectors in the South West means these organisations are driving innovation across the UK and across the world.

“At Deloitte, we’re excited to be at the heart of this and I look forward to seeing the fruits of our collaboration with Engine Shed, their members and the wider South West community to support the region’s growth.”

“Our South West teams continually collaborate with clients to deliver new ideas and ways of working to solve their biggest challenges. With access to Engine Shed’s facilities and through the connections we will make, our people will find even more ways to help our existing and future clients grow, innovate and use technology to their advantage.”

Nick Sturge, Director of Engine Shed, is equally as excited about the new partnership and the opportunities it will bring. He tells us, “Deloitte is a major employer in the region, a key enabler of business growth, and an active innovator in digital business.

“We are delighted to welcome them into our membership group of 28 organisations, whose members or staff have access to the Members Lounge.

“The opportunity to work with organisations like Deloitte and connect across boundaries in our thriving economy is part of our DNA and we look forward to working together.”
