TechSPARK is looking for partners to help us deliver a new, pilot, programme supporting business in Bristol & Bath!

The programme, Trading Better Online, is part of the West of England Combined Authority’s (WECA) targeted business support programme to help kick-start the regional economy following the coronavirus outbreak.

Delivered by TechSPARK, the programme is designed to help small businesses increase revenue by getting online, enhancing their online presence, or marketing their existing online offering.

We’re already identifying businesses who are eligible and now we need partners to help deliver the support. We want to work with freelancers and agencies who can deliver the work.

For each small business, the programme is creating a brief and will pay for up to 4 days of work to help them. This will start them on their journey to increase revenue. For these projects, we’re paying a set rate of £400 (ex VAT) per day.

We’re looking for partners for can help businesses

  1. Developing an online presence:  For example, creating a new website or establishing a social media presence.
  2. Increase engagement with customers online: For example, helping you to develop a new digital marketing strategy or adopting a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  3. Start selling products online: For example, setting up an eCommerce platform.

The pilot project is initially running for 3 months and will support 35 small businesses. We’re hoping to show the value of this work and expand it from there.
