Back in March, we launched our Virtual Coffee Mornings series to keep conversations running throughout the South West digital and tech community over lockdown. Experienced leaders and founders from Bristol, Bath and beyond came together online to discuss the future of tech, as well as to offer advice for business development and resilience during a crisis. In case you missed the live events, we’ll be sharing stories and insights from our wonderful guest speakers over the course of the next few weeks.

We asked Rick Chapman to give much-needed practical advice for startups surviving the COVID-19 crisis. Rick talked about managing cashflow, making difficult decisions and when it pays to be pessimistic.

Rick has over 30 years’ experience in the hightech sector and has worked in start-ups since 2001. As CTO of Reveal2me Ltd, he helped bring a disruptive content delivery platform for smart phones to market.

He is currently Chairman of NuNano Ltd., and Interactive Scientific Ltd., Entrepreneur-in-Residence in SETsquared Bristol and co-founder of EDI Partners Ltd. He also works with other organisations in Bristol & Bath supporting the high tech cluster.
