The ‘D’s Reshaping the Future of Work
10:30am – 11:30am, Friday 6th November
Automation was supposedly the force reshaping the future of work – turns out it wasn’t technology, but a virus which disrupted everything. The Digital workplace is changing and there are significant implications for employees, offices, and skills people need in an increasingly automated, remote, globalized workforce.
This session will cover:
- The rise of Disruption, Diversity and Digital: lessons from the global remote working “experiment” – and how workplaces may evolve into the future.
- The death of Dilbert, Dolly and Distance – what function do offices play if most of us can work from home? What are the implications of “living at work”? Is face-to-face contact important?
- The rise of the Droid – is AI/ automation still going to transform the workplace?

How often do you stop to check the health and fitness of your business?
The answer for most businesses is not often enough. We’re all so time poor. Zoom meetings, emails, new business, HR issues and the bottom line compete for our attention.
Come along to this taster session, as part of Swindon Summit, to see if the full Innovation Workout is for you.
N.B. Leg warmers and sweatbands not required.

Based on his own experiences of Mental Illness, Mental Health challenges & adversity in life & in business – Inspirational Speaker Nick Elston will engage, inspire & empower you to harness your experiences to build resilience, build deeper relationships & to start to live a life & build a business on your terms.
Most importantly, Nick shares his ‘Lived Experience’ through insights, tools, tips and techniques on how to manage Anxiety in Life, in Business – to implement immediately.
In his own words, Nick says ‘I see Lived Experience as the vehicle that takes individuals and organisations from the problem to the solution – but it’s NOT the solution. What do I bring to the table? Engagement. You can have all the Wellbeing & Mental Health initiatives you like – but unless you get engagement in them – absolutely nothing changes.’
