Amplify.link, the smart linking tool and digital marketing platform for artists and digital entrepreneurs to distribute their music without the need for a record company, has released an upgrade on the much loved beta version. This latest version builds on the previous capabilities focused on helping artists gain profile in a vibrant independent global music scene.
The company is currently at pre-fund stage, are already making waves in the thriving global independent music scene. To date, Amplify.link has helped fans make over 26 million connections with their favourite artists.

The platform has enjoyed significant success since launching in 2018. Today, the platform has 80,000 users – who are musical artists of all genres and digital creators and use the smart linking tool to share their music and content with their fans – and has grown 100% every 12 months. The smart linking tool has been used by established stars to boost their profile, including Darkoo and Joey Bada$$.
Founder and CEO, Bristolian Sam Bates has been a passionate music fan for well over 20 years, having been involved in the industry for 16 years as a DJ, promoter, and writer. He founded Amplify.link with the goal of using technology to democratise music for independent artists.
Sam tells us, “Amplify.link’s continued growth shows that there is a hunger, from both artists, creators and fans, for genuine and meaningful connections across digital platforms. By improving our features with these new capabilities, we provide the tools and knowledge for these digital entrepreneurs to create, engage and grow.”

The product has a truly global reach, with 40% of artists are located in the US. 8.2% in the UK, with the next most common locations including South Africa, Canada and Nigeria. Over 17 million unique fans have used a link and it has been used in every country apart from North Korea.
While Gen Z fans might be expected to be the most active users of the smart linking technology, the 25-34 age range make up the majority at nearly a third (32%). 18-24 year olds make up nearly a quarter (23%) of the fans that have made connections via the platform and the 35-44 age group 17%.
Amplify.link has helped grow the profile of several well known artists. Darkoo used the platform to support her track and music video, Gangsta, now with over 25 million views on YouTube and went on to sign a record deal with Atlantic Records. American rapper and actor Joey Bada$$ also used the product to help grow and engage with his audience.
