The UK’s longest running index of disruptive new startups, the Startups 100, has released its 2021 lineup and named Virti – the Bristol-based virtual and augmented reality training platform – number 5 on the list.

It’s not the first time Virti has been recognised for its awesome work – with being named as a TIME Best Invention of 2020, raising $10m & being nominated for two awards – Best Use of VR & Founder of the Year – at this year’s SPARKies… it’s been quite the year for the team

Run by the UK’s most established website for entrepreneurs,, the Startups 100 offers a showcase of new businesses that demonstrate innovation, solid financials, economic impact, and the ability to scale. The list has previously identified brands including Revolut, Deliveroo, HelloFresh and Bulb.

Startups on this year’s list have raised over 951 million in finance and over 696 million in revenue.

Other Bristol-based startups on this year’s list include Tumelo (#72), an impact-focused financial technology firm, and Kinherit Ltd. (#96), re-imagining everything to do with death planning and bringing Will-writing into the 21st century.
