09:30 – 10:30, Friday 22nd October

How to Get the Most Out of a Coding Bootcamp

14:30 – 15:30, Friday 22nd October

Bootcamp is going to be unlike any other educational experience you’ve ever had. It’s not school, and it’s definitely not a degree.

We look at how to cope with the intensity, how it’s OK to be overwhelmed, and how to maintain connections with your cohort if you’re working remotely.

Dave Webb: Dots, Lines, and Code: Make Art with Creative Coding

A workshop on making art with creative coding for absolute beginners. We look at the ways dots and lines are used in art, from simple to complex, and then explore and make some examples in creative code. We focus on creative outcomes, rather than technical detail, and allow time for you to make your own variations and remixes of the ideas. You will learn what is possible, even for beginners, and how to develop your skills further. You will need your own laptop, but there is nothing to install. Everything runs in the web browser.
