Technically Speaking is an informal webinar series for small, professional tech & design agencies in the South West. This short and snappy online event is created for agencies to share, learn and help others keep up to date with new technologies and trends.
Happening on the last Friday of every month, the event is 1-hour max, with 2 or 3 talks lasting just 10-15 minutes and a quick Q&A after each one. Be sure to sign up for the next event on the 28th of January!
“It was great to get someone else’s perspective on a topic I’m really interested in. Learning and sharing is incredibly important in the dev community and Technically Speaking feels like the ideal platform to do so!”

The premise of Technically Speaking is to encourage those working in the industry to offer their perspective on topics; it’s not an event for professional and experienced speakers, it’s for team members working at the coal face. There is no expectation of slick performances, so no need to panic about your PowerPoint prowess!
Technically Speaking is actively looking for tech-minded people to talk about subjects & technologies that others might want to hear about. We also encourage those from small to medium-sized agencies to come along! Interested in speaking or attending? Just add yourself to the mailing list.
Hugo Walker from the Technically Speaking team, tells us, “We feel like there’s a real appetite for learning and discovery among tech agencies in the southwest. However, we also appreciate that Zoom fatigue — or concentration fatigue, for that matter — is real, which is why Technically Speaking is super concise and informal.
“This isn’t to say we want to see whether you’re wearing trousers or not, but it should be a space to soak up and share knowledge without feeling any unnecessary pressure.”
