Nominations for The SPARKies Awards 2022 have officially closed, which means we’re one step closer to the main event and can finally reveal the longlist.
The SPARKies will be back on 14th July at 7pm to once again celebrate the best of tech and digital in the West in summer party style at Propyard! The venue has been bringing some amazing experiences to Bristo, most recently becoming home to the world-famous Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, and we’re super excited for The SPARKies to be a part of the repertoire.
The courtyard will be home to our arrival drinks and street food, well lit and complete with bar and music to get everyone in the spirit. This year’s awards will be held in the Crane Room, named after Propyard’s stunning 20 tonne Morris crane, a testament to the venue’s former life as an MOD torpedo warehouse. We’ll see you there to commemorate this year’s achievement across the tech and digital community – don’t forget to grab yourself a ticket now!
Back to The SPARKies longlist...
Thanks to all of your proactive nominating, and of course with so much bustling talent in the region, we now have a list of over 100 individuals, startups, organisations and agencies all making the South West’s tech cluster what it is today.
We’ve received over 200 nominations this year; it’s been great to see them rolling in as a mark of recognition for all the impressive work you’ve all done since October. The nominations include the most innovative uses of tech, those using their powers for good, groundbreaking virtual reality experiences, as well as nominations for the ones to watch in the future and of course, our community award.
Our fantastic SPARKies Judges now have the tough challenge of deciding who to shortlist and who to award the ultimate winner’s title.
So, without further ado, have a gander at this year’s nominees (in alphabetical order) and see if you can spot your favourites!
