Introducing CrypTegridy Blockchain Security, the Blockchain and CryptoAsset security experts. Founded in 2022, the team of two are making waves in the Bristol and Bath cybersecurity scene.

1 – In your own words – what do you do?

Blockchain security is a new field. What we do is protect our clients from potential threats to their digital assets, with a proactive approach to using prevention methods including due diligence, transaction monitoring and risk assessment to name a few. We also offer victim support, with a focus on crowdsourcing for group litigation cases involving multiple victims of the same criminal entity.

2 – What’s the most exciting thing about what you’re doing?

2022 was a real rollercoaster for us, we didn’t expect to be where we are now this soon. The most exciting thing is the real chance to make a difference to people’s lives and have the opportunity to be a part of the deciding factors around CryptoAssets regulation.

3 – What are you most proud of so far?

Overcoming all the obstacles of being an independent startup, the connections and partnerships we have formed as well as the brand’s development over the year.

4 – What have you found most difficult about being a startup?

Establishing trust and brand recognition, overcoming self-doubt and anxiety among peers.

5 – What would you do differently if you started now

We would have started networking more and traveling further to do it, we have found it to be the best tool for us.

6 – Where do you think you’ll be in 12 months?

Honestly cannot answer that. Given the previous 12 months we could be anywhere or everywhere.

7 – What tools/people/services/organisations from the cluster have helped you most?

We are grateful for all the help and efforts from everyone at Engine Shed, FinTech West, South West Cyber Resilience Centre, and Bristol & Bath Cyber, just to name a few. Massive thank you to all the staff at techSPARK, Bath Digital Festival and SETsquared for continuously organising fantastic networking Cyber Tuesdays and Third Thursdays.

8 – What’s the best thing about the Bristol & Bath tech cluster?

The people you meet and the support and guidance you get from everyone involved.

9 – Who will you nominate for a SPARKie?

Mark Moore and the South West Cyber Resilience Centre due to his guidance given and the great things he and the SWCRC are doing for small businesses.

10 – Where can we find out more about you?

Our website, the company LinkedIn page, my LinkedIn and Magdalena’s LinkedIn.
