The highly anticipated Bath Digital Festival is back, bigger than ever, and commencing this Monday. Here at techSPARK, we’ve loved taking on the curation process – we can’t quite believe the months of work is about to come to fruition next week!

The week-long event will be showcasing the South West’s thriving tech and digital scene. Taking place from July 10 to July 14, across various locations in the city, there is something for everyone. Our awesome community will be at the heart of the activity, facilitating connections and sharing knowledge.
As part of this year’s festival, techSPARK is also hosting the famous SPARKies Awards! The biggest tech awards outside of London will be returning to its home in the historic city of Bath to celebrate achievements from across the South West.

We’re exactly one week away from the big night, and with a shortlist bursting with established and emerging talent alike, we cannot wait to reveal this year’s deserving winners.
The SPARKies will be at Parade Gardens on 13 July. We’ll be kicking off the summer party at 6pm, so come along to grab a drink, enjoy some street food and catch up with familiar faces (all included in the price of your ticket). Expect the signature casual awards show with the biggest tech and digital innovators in attendance.
What to expect from Bath Digital Festival
This year’s event is set to captivate and inspire attendees. Throughout the week, attendees will delve into discussions on cutting-edge topics such as the transformative power of AI, the fusion of physical and simulated realities, and the future of work.
Bath Digitial Festival is hosting an impressive roster of participants, featuring renowned international brands like Google Digital Garage and BT, alongside remarkable local organisations such as Storm Consultancy and Agilebase. The event provides a platform for its attendees to discover, interact, and engage with industry leaders as well as the latest innovations, the chance to develop skills, and expand professional networks.
This year’s festival features an already impressive line-up of thought leaders, industry experts, and panels include What can AI do for you? An exploratory session from Mystic AI and Rocketmakers, on the latest advances in artificial intelligence and their impact on creativity in modern society.
Leading no-code CRM platform, Agilebase, will present a session entitled Build your own CRM – no coding skills required, in which participants can learn about creating their own scratch-built CRM system to plan resources and track projects, with no previous coding skill required to attend.
Award-winning coding Bootcamp, iO Academy will host an introductory session to programming and software development, where those involved can get their first taste of HTML, CSS and JavaScript while they build a computer game in the process.
MyWorld is also set to host a discussion on Disguise’s openness to change and how their embrace of innovation enabled them to not only pivot but thrive.
