The Bristol Technology Festival (BTF) is taking place in less than a week! The techSPARK team can’t wait to bring the UK’s largest and most connected regional technology festival to Bristol once again this October.
Supported by our headline partner, Ghyston, an award-winning UK software company, the festival will be taking place from 9 – 13 October 2023 in various locations across our vibrant city. As usual, connecting people and sharing knowledge will be at the core of BTF.
In case you need refreshing, the five themes are:
Science: From healthcare and biotechnology to robotics and space exploration, science tech is transforming the way we live and work.
People: Sponsored by AND Digital, the theme of people and talent focuses on the individuals who make up the tech industry, as well as the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this field.
Awareness: Raising awareness of the risks to our cybersecurity, focusing on the challenges and opportunities of ensuring the security of our digital infrastructure.
Resilience: The theme of resilience focuses on ensuring the stability and strength of our sector. We will be highlighting risks and the importance of future proofing our business.
Knowledge: The final day will provide opportunities for attendees to connect with other professionals, learn about the latest developments and trends, and gain insights into the future of the industry.
With a host of events taking place each day, we’re helping you to narrow down the selection by hand-picking our top choices. Check out our list for People Day here, and read on for Awareness Day highlights! And of course, you can browse the full schedule on the BTF site too.
The highly anticipated Bristol & Bath Cyber Conference is back for 2023. After connecting the most influential movers and shakers of the South West cyber sector at last year’s conference, we can’t wait to recreate the day with up to date industry knowledge.
With a blend of workshops, hackathons, panel debates and 20 industry-leading speakers, this is the region’s largest cyber collective. Bristol & Bath Cyber Con is designed to support people working in the industry and celebrate the most innovative cyber startups.
Whether you’re new to cyber and want to meet more of the community, or you’re an industry veteran looking to burnish your skills, as long as you have a keen interest in cyber, the conference will have something for you.
In a world where technology is rapidly evolving, so too are the tools and methods we use to interact with it. Gone are the days when coding was the exclusive domain of programmers and developers. Today, we stand on the cusp of a new era in software development – the era of “no code.”
Imagine being able to build your own digital products without having to write a single line of code. It might seem like a vision from the future, but it’s an unfolding reality. The future of code is no code at all, and it’s changing the way we work, innovate, and create.
Join us on the 11th of October at Science Creates in Bristol. We’re bringing together a panel of experts to discuss the revolutionary concept of “no code” and how it’s shaping the future of work. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or someone curious about the world of software development, this event is for you.
