Calling all tech and digital startups in the South West – you only have 1 week left to submit your application for the Silicon Gorge 2025 pitching competition! That’s right, you have until Friday 11 April to apply.
If you aren’t familiar with Silicon Gorge, it is techSPARK’s annual competition that gives 12 local startups a chance to pitch to a room full of investors and enablers of investment. The competition is open to organisations looking for between £100k-£2m.
Once the applications close next week, our judges will be working on whittling down the entries to 24 finalists who will each pitch across two days for a place at the Investor Showcase on 5 June.

Why take part in Silicon Gorge 2025?
Silicon Gorge has proven its ability to identify the very best talent and continues to strengthen its reputation for this. Making it through the rounds of the competition has a track record of attracting future investors, and also is a key chance to improve your pitching skills.
For the startups that make it to the Investor Showcase, we’ll be holding pitching workshops on 20 May to make sure everyone is as ready as possible for the big day.
