PitchMe! is an informal and welcoming event where entrepreneurs can present their business ideas, practise their investment pitches, improve their pitching skills, and get inspired by experts and other companies. Plus an audience can simply come and watch to take tips for your own future pitches.
Each event allows founders to pitch for up to 10 minutes each, followed by insight and advice from our panel of pitch listeners.
For this event our Pitchers are :-
Simon from Marketypes, which applies a psychometric test to businesses, that helps them create better, more loyal, more fruitful relationships with their customers
Andrea from Sparedesk, Bringing the skillset you lack into the unutilised workspace you have.
Tim from Infinifty – the future of how creators, brands and independent workers sell digital merch, work and experiences.
Emma from iampro.com, an online platform which is redefining drama and production training.
And our brilliant expert listeners include – Richard Godfrey, Founder & CEO at Rocketmakers, Felicia Cheung, Active Investor & NED, Nina Searle, Partner at TLT Commercial and Richard Spilsbury, of Linkstone Advisory.
This event is run as part of the Investment Activator Programme – thanks to our partnership with Sanderson, Rocketmakers, Engine Shed, TLT, UKC3, University of West England and SETsquared Bristol
Extra info for potential future pitchers :
Have you got a great business idea that you’d like to pitch to some experienced entrepreneurs? Perhaps you’ve already got an established business that you would like to present to investors or customers and just need a bit more practice!? Maybe you want to trial a new approach to your age-old pitch? Or would you just like to watch others pitching this time and see what feedback they get?
We’ll have some experienced ‘pitch listeners’ and network leaders in the session to ask you questions and give you feedback, on both your pitch and your business idea, and we can also take questions and feedback from ‘the crowd’ aka the audience.
You can pitch for up to 10 minutes and we’ll allow a further 10 mins for questions, feedback and advice to ensure you’re pitch ready when it comes to the real deal.
We have up to 4 slots for pitching in each session, so if you’d like to pitch just follow this link, fill in the form and we’ll be in contact about the next events. That’s it! Easy!
This is part of a series of events, which we are developing throughout the year as part of the wider Investment Activator Programme (check out https://invest-southwest.com/ for more activities and tips), plus if you have any feedback about what else would be useful, do let us know!
