The SPARKies 2023

The highlight of the techSPARK calendar is coming around again – The SPARKies is back for 2023! This year we are very excited to announce that the biggest tech awards outside of London is returning to Bath for 2023, as  part of the Bath Digital Festival!

As always, the SPARKies looks to celebrate everything tech in the West, from shouting out the Best Place to Work in to commending the companies creating a positive impact with the Good Award. There will be a total of 17 awards, and as always we want to hear from you who you think deserves recognition of their work over the last year.

Some of you will be well accustomed to The SPARKies celebrations. This year we will be bringing you the signature casual awards show with a selection of food, drink and various activities, included in your ticket. We can’t wait to bring you a fun filled evening in true SPARKies style.

There will be 17 awards given to the best organisations and individuals working in South West tech today. We’ll be back with all your favourite awards – from shouting out the Best Place to Work in Tech to commending all the companies creating a positive impact with the Good Award and putting the spotlight on the younger generation with our FutureSPARK award to recognising years of commitment through the Lifetime Achievement award.

As always, there’s been tonnes of activity that we can’t wait to highlight. techSPARK’s Managing Director, Ben Shorrock, says, “£920 million of equity investment was raised in 2022 between all the fantastic tech and digital businesses in the region. This impressive total illustrates just how much creativity, innovation and research is happening day in and day out across our community. We can’t wait to bring everyone together to celebrate these achievements in just awesome one evening.”
