Netcraft announce the Best of Britain Programming Competition 2014

1st September 2014

netcraft-logoAimed at showcasing the top computer science students in the UK, the Netcraft Best of Britain Programming competition is now open.

The competition, aimed at UK students, is geared towards the contribution of ‘real life’ code with prizes up to £1000! Entrants can work alone or in a group to develop a programme relevant to Netcraft services, from internet security and infrastructure, to web technologies.

Not quite as brief as an overnight hackathon or as long as a fully fledged full time project, there’s just enough time to get entries together before the closing date on the 22 September.

The competition will culminate in an awards ceremony to announce the winners of the competition, as well as to award the top UK undergraduate and A-level computer science students.
