Rocketmakers expands business development team
The Bath-based software developers, Rocketmakers, has opened its doors to a couple of new team members.
Evan Rudowski and Marina Traversari have joined the business development team of the cutting-edge tech company at just the right time. Rocketmakers is rapidly expanding and is keen to reach out its client base into new sectors.
CEO Richard Godfrey is thrilled to welcome the new arrivals: “”We are really excited about having Evan and Marina join our growing team.
“Rocketmakers works with a huge range of organisation types, from novice entrepreneurs with ideas jotted down on an envelope, to FTSE 100 companies, to publicly funded agencies.
We have the skills and experience to help all of them develop disruptive innovations, but each type of organization requires a different approach. Working alongside our current business development manager Rachel Baker, the addition of Evan and Marina will make this outreach possible.”
The right people for the job
Evan has over three decades of experience in the tech industry on both sides of the Atlantic. After starting his career in New York and moving across the pond to continue it in the UK, Evan founded his own company, Atlantic Leap – they specialise in helping American tech firms expand internationally.
He also co-founded SubHub, a B2B service which provides subscription platforms for content, goods and services. Evan will be overseeing Rocketmakers outreach to corporate clients.
And Marina certainly knows her stuff when it comes to tech in the South West. She has spent the last 17 years helping to grow the creative and tech sectors here.
She has a wealth of experience and most recently has been the Programme Lead for the Oracle Startup Cloud Ecosystem. Marina oversaw the journey of dozens of early-stage tech startups with fast growth potential, helping them seek funding and building out their teams.
For Rocketmakers, Marina will be helping the company’s outreach to startups and scaleups.
Expansion is on the cards
Rocketmakers’ unique client portfolio includes both early-stage startups and enterprise size clients. Whatever the size of the project, the company focuses on disruptive, cutting-edge innovations – ideally innovations that will help make the world a better place.
The company have also won a plethora of prizes such as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2018 and a significant grant from Innovate UK to develop a new platform to allow product placement by third parties in virtual reality and augmented reality environments.
And with Evan and Marina on board, they’re hoping to be shouting about more successes very soon.
