“I’m interested in products that solve a problem, help reduce social disadvantage or improve access to services”
What excites you most about the tech scene in Bristol, Bath and the South West?
I enjoy the start-up businesses that bring energy and spark to the sector. I’m excited that the West of England now frequently appears in national reports that celebrate the tech scene locally which adds to a spiral of enthusiasm, collaboration and new ideas.
What are you hoping to see from the SPARKies nominees?
I’m interested in products that solve a problem, products that help reduce social disadvantage or improve access to services. I’m looking forward to seeing anything about Internet of Things and Big Data. I’m interested in businesses that have ambition to fly high.
