On the 26 September, the Bristol Harbourside will be taken over by the first ever Bristol Bright Night where you can ‘discover what researchers really do and why it matters for your daily life’.
Visitors will be able to explore bugs that glow in the dark; Robots vs Animals; learn how to build a pedestrian bridge across Bristol Harbour; enjoy pop-up science theatre, and even cook and eat with researchers while discussing how their work impacts on Bristolian’s daily life.
With a collaboration between the University of Bristol, UWE and Bristol Natural History Consortium, Bristol Bright Night will be one of 300 cities in over 24 countries taking part in the European Commission funded annual researchers night.
Talks and activities will be taking place from 12pm until late in various venues, including The Watershed and @Bristol.
