Gigaclear is offering to boost any and all online community pages in Devon, Somerset and Gloucester being used to support people during the coronavirus pandemic.

In a series of social posts on the Gigaclear Twitter and Facebook pages, the ultrafast rural broadband provider asked its followers to contact them about any community support pages they are aware of, offering to share them across its social channels and boost them with paid-for promoted posts.

Liz Falconer, Head of Communications at Gigaclear, says, “In this difficult and unprecedented Global situation, we’ve seen communities come together and support each other – it’s really inspiring.

“Gigaclear has fairly far-reaching social pages that lots of different communities engage with.  We’re keen to do what we can to support the communities we operate in with that platform, so we’re offering to boost community support pages, sharing them across our social channels and using the social media advertising algorithms to target people in those areas who haven’t yet found the support they might desperately need.

“We’re also asking for people to share their stories and tell us about what they’re doing to support their neighbours, especially anything innovative, so we can share those ideas across all the communities we work in to help inspire others.”

If you are a member of a community support page, contact Gigaclear via Facebook Messenger, Twitter DM or by email:
