1 – In your own words – what do you do?
Innoforge specialises in helping early-stage businesses grow effortlessly. We deliver comprehensive recruitment and HR solutions, allowing business owners to concentrate on driving their vision forward while we source the right people to make it happen. Our approach is cost-effective and hassle-free, designed to support sustainable growth.
2 – What’s the most exciting thing about what you’re doing?
We’re helping to shape industries at the forefront of innovation such as Space, Quantum and Future mobility, whether it’s helping a startup launch or supporting a professional in making their dream career move.
3 – What are you most proud of so far?
The feedback from candidates and clients has been incredible, but our STEM initiative really stands out. We donate money for every interview and placement we make. From donations to charities such as TechSheCan, to donating a PS5 to Bath Children’s Hospital at Christmas, it’s been so rewarding to see our business make a genuine difference. We have also delivered talks and workshops on the future of STEM to students of all ages, which is linked to us forging future innovation.
4 – What have you found most difficult about being a startup?
Spinning all of the plates that come with a starting a business and prioritising the tasks that will truly drive the business forward. Although we have learnt a lot form doing this.
5 – What would you do differently if you started now?
Being a bit too focused on our branding , logo etc. All are important but at the start we spent too much procrastinating around this vs getting out and meeting people. I would also say focusing “On the business” at least 1 day per fortnight being a non negotiable from day one.
6 – Where do you think you’ll be in 12 months?
With a small team continuing to support innovative businesses and have a platform in place to help start ups and scale ups grow cost effectively whilst continuing to support the future work force.
7 – What tools/people/services/organisations from the cluster have helped you most?
The support within the Natwest Accelerator Hub through Jason, Elly and the Mentors in keeping us focused. Also the Community Slack Channels for sharing ideas / learns and Talking to other founders and businesses in the same situation where you are able to share ideas, help overcome each others challenges has been really useful
8 – What’s the best thing about the Bristol & Bath tech cluster?
The welcoming community and collaboration across the region is second to none. The region has some awesome businesses and people and I think that what makes it and everyone wants to support what you’re doing.
