Businesses across the south west looking for help to develop new or improved products, technologies, processes or services are being invited to apply for a share of a new £4m fund being managed by the University of the West of England.
Grants of between £25k and £150k are available via the Innovation4Growth for all business sizes (SMEs and larger) with the purpose of part funding research and development projects.
Speaking at the launch of the initiative on the University’s Frenchay Campus, Professor Martin Boddy (Pro-Vice Chancellor, Research and Business Engagement) said: “Any company with plans for research and development, or thinking about an innovative project, should consider applying. We would typically fund 35 per cent of project costs for SMEs, and a bit less for larger companies – so a significant portion of expenditure can be claimed.â€
The deadline for applications for the first fund is 10th March. More info is available on the Innovation4Growth website.
